My Hawk Flight

This is a page I've been meaning to add to my website for a couple of years now, so, at long last I've got it all sorted!

On the 25th of July 2006 I was fortunate enough to go flying in a BAe Hawk T Mk1 From 19 (F) Sqn RAF Valley.

It was the best experience I've ever had, and was the quickest hour of my life......lol, we did everything from Formation flying red arrows style with our wingman to low level flying over Porthmadog, past Port Meirion & around the famous 'Mack Loop' twice, yes, twice!

I've inserted a few pictures from the flight taken from my camcorder, not the best quality pictures, but the capture a few local spots that some of you might recognise! Also find the video footage I recorded in flight, unfortunately, a DVD camcorder is not the best way of recording a fast jet flight, as the 'G' forces affect the spinning disk, as I found out, but was lucky to have a mate that was able to rescue what footage that wasn't corrupted!

I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures & video!
